Shirley By-Election 2026
Hi I'm James,
I am Labour's candidate for Shirley in this year's by-election.
I love Shirley and care deeply about our community. If elected, I am comitted to ensuring the Labour council prioritise the issues that matter most to Shirley residents- repairing potholes, protecting our high street from crime, and continued investment in our green spaces.
I hope I can count on your vote. Please vote Labour on the 26th of February!
My pledges for Shirley
Investing in more CCTV and local enforcement teams to reduce fly-tipping and crack down on repeat offenders
Creating clean air zones around schools to reduce idling and anti-social parking
Investing in more CCTV and local enforcement teams to reduce anti-social behaviour
Doubling investment in road repairs to improve the city’s roads and pavements
Investing in Shirley Pond Park and creating a nature reserve at Lordsdale Greenway
