Cllr Marie Finn has represented Portswood ward since 2023. She is Cabinet Member for Adults and Health and chairs the Health and Well-being Board.

Marie is a recently retired mental health social worker with many years of experience in the NHS. She is also a parent and grandparent, and lives in St Denys with her husband and their foxhound, Todd. In her spare time, Marie enjoys reading, walking the dog, and going to live music. She has also been a loyal Saints season ticket holder for more than 20 years.

Marie is passionate about reducing health inequalities in Southampton, improving mental health support, and creating opportunities for young people. She wants the city to be a place where people look out for each other and loneliness is reduced.

Living by the River Itchen, Marie also cares deeply about the environment and serves as secretary of the St Denys Flood Action Group.
