Cllr Christie Lambert has represented Freemantle ward since being elected in 2023. She is the Deputy Leader of the Council and serves as Cabinet Member for Transport.

Outside of her council work, Christie is an HR Advisor and business owner. She is also a member of the Southampton Operatic Society, where she enjoys performing in musical theatre shows and concerts. At home, life is busy as mum to two daughters and two Labradors.

Christie entered politics to make sure residents feel safe, supported, and well represented. She is particularly interested in how transport can help connect communities, improve quality of life, and contribute to a greener, fairer city.

She believes councillors should be approachable and visible, and she values the conversations she has with residents in Freemantle that shape her work. Christie is passionate about ensuring Southampton is a city where people not only feel looked after but also have the opportunities and services they need to thrive.
